The company «MICHALOS TRANS» owns storage facilities in Heraklion, fully equipped for the safe storage of products with:
- Electrohydraulic ramps for loading and unloading products
- Electric and manual pallet trucks for internal goods handling
- Forklifts – lifting equipment of various types
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- PDA terminals
- FIFO-FEFO date-based calculation methods
- Product packaging
- Storage according to product specifications

- Storage of unsuitable products in a specially designed area
Our Fleet
With the continuous renewal of our fleet, the company has managed to acquire state-of-the-art trucks. For their best possible maintenance, within our facilities there is an auto repair shop with specialized staff, as well as a car wash and a fuel station.
The fleet consists of Tractors with Euro 6 engine specifications, latest technology refrigerated chambers with ultra-modern cooling units, some of which are equipped with hydraulic doors and can load at up to 3 different temperatures, platforms with locks for container loading, curtainsiders for dry cargo, and tankers for liquid cargo.
Facilities
Based in Heraklion, Crete, with branches in Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, and Kos (through an external partner), we own facilities of 9,500 sq.m. with 2,500 sq.m. covered storage space in Heraklion, 2,500 sq.m. in Thessaloniki, 2,000 sq.m. in Rhodes, and 3,000 sq.m. in Athens, pharmaceutical warehouses, as well as cooling and freezing chambers. Each of our warehouses is equipped with all the necessary machinery, modern technology equipment, and safety systems for facilities and staff. In the history of our company, we transport more than 400,000 tons of products annually, throughout mainland and island Greece, with respect both to the product and to our customers/partners.

Our specialized staff carries out regular inspections and maintenance of our vehicles to ensure maximum safety for your products.
